There are many more story lines I'm sure, but lets kick it off with these.

Laney Osborne Continues to Impress
The Jefferson standout has been impressive on her rookie campaign with the Midwest Truck Series. On the season she has one top 5 and two top 10s along with only one race she has lost spots in the feature. She currently leads the Joas Painting Rookie of the Year standings.
Moving Forward
It’s never easy to pass in the Midwest Truck Series but Tristan Swanson and Eugene Gregorich III have moved forward in all 6 features so far in the 2026 season. Swanson sits on top of the Lefthander Performance season long Hard Charger standings having passed 31 trucks in feature competition while Gregorich III is in second with 25 trucks.
Leading the Pack
At the halfway point of the season Tristan Swanson is the overall lap leader with 110 laps led (39.86%). James Swan is in second with 58 laps (21%) out front while Robbie Rucks is in third with 50 laps led. Swan has led laps in 4 of the 1st seven events on the year.
Howie Lettow Winners Still Going Strong
Former Howie Lettow 30 winners in the field include James Swan (2x), Brandon Reichenberger, Chester Ace, James Lynch, and Kevin Knuese. Levon Van Der Geest is also a former Midwest Truck Series Howie Lettow winner and is competing in a super late.
Ace Returns to the Truck
After taking some time off to spend with family and recover from an injury. The winningest driver in a Midwest Truck in the modern era at Madison returns to the series. Ace has found victory lane 5 times in the modern era, one more time than James Swan. Chester is coming off a podium third place back in May in the Joe Shear Classic 36.
