The competition will have to step up their A game in 2024. Jacob Nottestad is set to chase for the Midwest Truck Series Points Championship behind the wheel of the Tytus Helgestad owned Truck.

Nottestad has been very successful already in his young career. The Janesville, WI native is a two time Pro Late Model Champion at the Slinger Super Speedway winning back to back titles in 2019 and 2020. Oktoberfest of 2020 Nottestad would get an opportunity to get behind the wheel of the John DeAngelis prepared #7 Super Late Model for the ‘Futures’ 20 Lap Event. Nottestad would take the lead on an early restart and never look back, winning his First Super Late Model feature. In 2022 Nottestad would go on to win the ASA Midwest Tour Salute the Troops 100 at Jefferson Speedway. The past two seasons Nottestad has finished runner up in the Elite 8 Super Late Model Series at the Fastest Quarter Mile Oval in the World.

As they get set to make their Championship run in the Midwest Truck Series Nottestad will use his prior experience to his advantage. He does have experience in the Truck Series running two races at Jefferson where he finished 2nd in both of those races and a 4th place finish at Oktoberfest one season ago.
