2026 Schedule Released

[Sun Prairie, WI] Tradition takes center stage in the 2026 Midwest Truck Series schedule.

A 14-event slate spread across 13 weekends will once again test the strength, depth, and resilience of every team as the battle for the championship stretches into late October.

The 2026 campaign fires up on Saturday, April 11, at Dells Raceway Park with the Club LaMark Icebreaker 50. Early-April conditions always add a layer of unpredictability.

From there, the series heads to its birthplace, Madison International Speedway, for the Joe Shear Classic 36 presented by Bullseye Games on Sunday May 3rd, an iconic event honoring one of short track racing’s most respected legends.

Memorial Day Weekend brings the annual trip up I-39 to Golden Sands Speedway in Plover, Wisconsin. Under the mid-day sun, drivers will battle slick conditions, fading grip, and each other over a demanding 50-lap contest.

June marks the return of two longtime racing friends as the TUNDRA Super Late Models and the Midwest Truck Series reunite at Marshfield Motor Speedway for the final Bob and Bev Aschenbrenner Memorial. Fans can expect a memorable night celebrating two remarkable supporters of Wisconsin short track racing.

Let’s Duel! One of the most popular formats in Midwest Truck Series history returns to Slinger Super Speedway with back-to-back ‘Duel’ events. The first showdown takes place Sunday, June 21, alongside the ASA STARS National Tour, with the second event set for Sunday, July 12, kicking off the legendary Slinger Nationals week.

The series then rolls to Madison International Speedway on July 24 for the Hougan Farms Howie Lettow 30, before heading to Wisconsin International Raceway for one of the crown jewels of the summer: the Zentner’s Auto Service Dixieland Delight 35, held on Tuesday, August 4.

From there we head south of the Wisconsin border for the debut of The Windy City Showdown at Grundy County Speedway on Saturday, August 15. This newly established special event marks the Midwest Truck Series’ highly anticipated return to Illinois and will showcase both the Trucks and the Mid-Am Racing Series in what promises to be an unforgettable night of short track action.

September opens with a return to Dells Raceway Park Labor Day Weekend for the Sauter Classic 50 on Saturday, September 5, followed by a doubleheader at Jefferson Speedway during Wisconsin State Championship Weekend presented by Nora’s Tavern, September 18–19.

The penultimate race of the season is a big one, Oktoberfest Race Weekend on Saturday, October 10, a crown-jewel staple and annual fan favorite.

Finally, the season heads back to Dells Raceway Park on October 24 where the 2026 Midwest Truck Series Champion will be crowned.

Other Season Highlights:

The Mid-Summer Shootout returns in 2026 for its third season. This knockout-style bracket brings together the top 20 in owner’s points, beginning at the Prelude to the Nationals at Slinger Super Speedway and concluding at Dells Raceway Park during the Sauter Classic, where a new Mid-Summer Shootout Champion will be crowned.

The Pit-Crew BBQ Dash4Cash also returns, as Marcus and the Pit Crew BBQ team commit to a fifth season of supporting this fan-favorite program. The Dash4Cash uses qualifying races to set the four drivers who will compete for the bonus, and Pit Crew BBQ has contributed $1,000 each season for the past four years, money that goes directly back to the teams.
